Many passages of the Qur'an and the hadith call for the equality of all peoples in Islam. Yet at the same time, Islamic scriptures contain agitation against the Jews which would be considered today to be anti-semitism (covered in a [https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Islamic_Antisemitism separate article]), and the Arabs and their language are given a superior place in the eyes of Allah and the tradition.
