In general, content on WikiIslam should:
# be based on facts, references and mainstream Islamic sources, not personal opinions and deductions.# be related to the criticism of Islam rather than politics, not issues of a political nature.# be tailored to accommodate a universal audience, not only certain countries or demographics.
# be written in a professional and scholarly manner, refraining from sarcastic, sensationalist or extremist language.
# be free of personal opinions and deductions.
# be free from vulgar, offensive, or slang language (unless it is a necessary translation of an Islamic word/phrase).
# not endorse fringe theories unsupported by the majority of evidence found in recognized translations of the Qur'an, hadith and quotations from Islamic scholars.
