::::Scholar Ibn Kathir described a giant whale that supports the earth in great detail [https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Qur%27an,_Hadith_and_Scholars:Cosmology#Ibn_Kathir here] (and there are similar descriptions in the rest of the page). The translators obviously omitted this from all English versions of Tafsir ibn Kathir. So, this stuff looks like the tip of the iceberg.
