  • (*) In this case (verse 7:155) the word itself, due to arabic grammar, is in the singular form but in the context it is plural.
    • "And Musa chose out of his people seventy men (سَبْعِينَ رَجُلًا, sabAAeena rajulan) for Our appointment..."

Man - Mar (المرء)

Words with the root مرا (m-r-a) meaning "man":

Total count Verse Word in arabic Translation Number (counted)
1 2:102 ٱلْمَرْءِ man singular 1 *
2 4:176 ٱمْرُؤٌا۟ man singular 2 *
3 8:24 ٱلْمَرْءِ man singular 3
4 19:28 ٱمْرَأَ man singular 4 *

10 80:34 ٱلْمَرْءُ man singular 10 *
11 80:37 ٱمْرِئٍ man singular 11
  • (*) In these cases the words clearly mean "male man", in other verses the word could mean "human being" and thus include females.
    • If this word always meant "human being", then for example, in 2:102 "between a man and his wife" (بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ, bayna almari wazawjihi) would be "between a human being and his wife", which would indicate that wife is not a human being.

Conclusions

Miracles

  • Miracle 1: "The word rajul (man) and the word amra (woman) are both mentioned 24 times. That is a miracle and it means men and women are equal."[1][2]
    • The word count 24 is achieved by ignoring all dual and plural forms.
    • Forms with suffixes and prefixes are suddenly counted although in the 365 days miracle, they were not counted.
    • All the words meaning "man" with the root امر are ignored.
    • This word count includes the controversial word (رَجُلًا, rajulan) from the verse 7:155, which is in the singular form, but is clearly talking about seventy men (سَبْعِينَ رَجُلًا, sabAAeena rajulan). Wouldn't it be more logical to count it as plural?
    • The number 24 doesn't signify anything and seems to be a product of coincidence. Wouldn't Allah make the number more interesting if he wanted to do a numerical miracle?
    • Equality in word count does not imply equality under law.
      • If we take the sentence "Men should have more rights than women.", the word count for both is equal, but clearly, it doesn't mean that the message of the text is that men and women are equal, or that they have the same social value.
  • Miracle two: "The word man and woman are both mentioned 23 times and in formation of an embryo 23 chromosomes are from the mother and 23 chromosomes are from the father." [3]
    • The word count for singular "man" can be 23 (if we don't count the controversial word in the verse 7:155, as mentioned earlier), but the word count for singular "woman" is 24.
    • Word count in this miracle contradicts the word count in previous miracle.
  • Where is the miracle in the word count of "male" and "female"? Male is mentioned 12 times in the singular and female is mentioned 18 times. Does this mean that females are superior to males?

Other conclusions

  • The word "woman" unlike the word "man" is often in the form of "my woman", "his woman", "your woman"... which indicates the "women are a property of men" mentality.
