2. There is a big difference between "sending blessings" onto someone and praying to someone. A quick Google search brings up some interesting stuff, e.g. [http://www.hcna.us/columns/blessing.html]. I've heard this argument before. In fact others have tried to add it here and there in the past and it has always been removed.
