+Muslims says that in the Quran it is mentionned that the Dead Sea is the lower land of the Earth and that the usual translation is an error.

+No, they got it wrong. Read the Reformist Translation of the Quran to get a clearer idea of what it says. I also elaborated above of why the correct translation is “lowest” not “near”.
