This article contains a table of all the occurrences of the word "day" (يوم - transliterated as "yawm") in all its forms in the Qur'an. It also counts the total number of occurrences, number of occurrences in singular/plural/dual separately and the number of occurrences, where the word consists only of the three arabic letters يوم (regardless of diacritics).
This article contains a list of all the occurrences of the word "day" (يوم - transliterated as "yawm") in all its forms in the Qur'an. It also counts the total number of occurrences, number of occurrences in singular/plural/dual separately and the number of occurrences, where the word consists only of the three arabic letters يوم (regardless of diacritics). The purpose is to refute the apologist argument, that he word appears 365 times in the Qur'an, which "cannot be a coincidence" (although it could be a coincidence even if it was true), and therefore the Qur'an must be from god. Apologists for some reason never bother to present the full list.

== Conclusions ==
=== Main ===
* The word يوم (day) in all its forms appears 475 times in the Qur'an.
* The word يوم appears 446 times in its singular form in the Qur'an.
* The word يوم in its basic form (consisting only of the trilateral root ي-و-م without any suffix/prefix letters and while ignoring the diacritics) appears 219 times in the Qur'an and not 365 times as some apologists like to claim.
=== Other ===
* Even if the word يوم appeared 365 times in its basic form, these words would not be the same because there are still differences in diacritics.
* يومئذ  means "that day" and not "then forth" and even if we excluded it because it means "then forth", then we should also exclude اليوم, because it means "today".
* يوما has the letter ا (alif) as a suffix to indicate accusative, so it is not the basic form.
