WikiIslam already hosts many completed translations in French, Turkish and other languages . Note that these pages retain their original formatting. To do this, simply press the "Edit" or "View source" tab at the top-right of the page you wish to translate, then copy and paste the entire thing into a text or word file. If you then translate directly from that file, you will retain all of the formatting.

Another way which might help some translators is to copy the text of the article into an external editor which highlights the WikiIslam syntax, so you are able to focus just on the text itself. This system gives you a better control when translating more complex articles and it speeds up the translation in general. You can for example download Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org) and install user defined language which highlights the WikiIslam syntax. More info regarding use of user defined languages can be found in Notepad++ user documentation. This particular user defined language was created by one of your translators and you can use it for translation (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/commun/userDefinedLang/Mediawiki_SL.xml). After you finish editing in the external editor, simply paste the translation back to WikiIslam.
