Quran Science Debating to the response page

This is where a debate of non muslims and muslims against the response page

Where does the sun rise

Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea, and found by it a people. We said: O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit.

Qur'an 18:86

The area where the ozone layer around the Earth is thinnest, where it protects least against solar radiation, is the poles. American scientists determined a rapid decrease in ozone concentration at the moment of sunrise – when there was no sign of any before. This phenomenon is particularly encountered in the North Pole (Arctic) region, and there is a serious loss of ozone for a few hours immediately after sunrise.

The Arabic word “matlia” in this verse, meaning the “rising place” of the Sun, may well be a reference to this scientific discovery about the ozone layer.

Second response

The quran litrilly meant the sun goes in a spring of water. No use of science here.

Jonah perform repentance prayer inside a fish

So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself, But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick.

Qur'an 37:142-145

This is a story which was mentioned in more than Muslims' Holy Book.

Second response

Oh so the story must be true when one fairy tail is the same like another. Noooot
