==Deceptive tactics==
Deceptive tactics used by apologists in relation to the prophecies are:
* Ignoring that the hadith is weak (daif). Usually the sources are not even mentioned.
* Pretending that the predicted things didn't happen before they were written, while in fact they did happen
* Pretending that the predicted things started happening just now and that the prophecy amazingly fits on our time, although other apologists hundreds of years ago said the same thing in their time
* Pretending that a prophecy would be hard to guess for Muhammad, while in fact it wouldn't be that hard to guess
* Telling a lot of details and making it seem that they are a part of the hadith when in fact they are not a part of the hadith. The hadith is usually not even quoted

The hadith collections were written, often by Persian authors, many years after the death of Muhammad. So when the hadiths contain a prophecy about early Islamic history, it might be attributed to Muhamamd after the fact. This category also includes things that always happened, even before Islam (earthquakes, wars, people being dishonest...).
