There are two versions of this hadith. In this version, the "to you" was added by the translators to indicate that it is the last hour (death) of the people who asked. However this qualification is entirely absent in the Arabic text. This version of the hadith reported by Anas just says "until the hour comes" (حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ) (see also {{Bukhari|8|73|188}} quoted below where Anas seems to be a witness, {{Muslim|41|7051}}, and {{Muslim|41|7053}}).
