This hadith is classified as weak and Abu Dawud himself explains his doubts about it. But firstly, it is in keeping with other Sahih hadiths that say that a Muslim's prayer is nullified by a dog, a donkey, and a woman. Secondly there seems to be no doubt or debate over the presence of the word "Jew" in this narration.
